How do I know your website is secured?
It's easy. When you browse through important pages like login page, my account, shopping cart and checkout pages, you will notice that the url address will change from "http://" to "https://". This is an indication that you are browsing in a secure mode.
Why not all your pages in secure mode?
The reason we do not put all pages in secure mode because it is not a best practice to do so since secure pages are encrypted and they are slower to load. We only implement secure mode when the shopping page contains sensitive information like your login details, personal information, etc.
Could you explain more about secure mode?
Being in secure mode means that all information in the page are encrypted. Encryption is the process of transforming information using an algorithm to make it unreadable to anyone except those possessing special knowledge, usually referred to as a key. If you notice, we only accept orders that are placed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. During payment, we also ask for your card billing address as an additional security check. New security checks like the card signature code have recently been introduced to protect your credit card details online. No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed. This is why you can save your delivery address but need to enter your card details each time you order. We recommend that you always close down your Internet browser when you have finished shopping online, especially if you use a shared PC. This will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites that you may have visited.
